@VeraJourova@JosephMuscat_JM Thank you for looking beyond the partisan hype and concentrating on the facts, goodwill and sincerity of an imperfect but honest collaborator.
@10DowningStreet@theresa_may The vote taken was made by the UK not only without the true facts but with a number of misrepresentations by Brexiteers. The democratic travesty will be if the people are not given another vote on the true terms and meaning of BREXIT once factually known.
@10DowningStreet@spgalea@theresa_may PM wants the EU to respect the UK referendum on her terms. May being unbelievably naive to think that the EU OWES it to the UK to change basic principle of the single market: it is indivisible. If UK does it others will want to do it resulting in the demise of the EU.
@JosephMuscat_JM@FRANCE24 Teresa May has always side stepped the question "is it worth it?". The only way she can take UK out of EU and retire fm politics with a clear conscience is with a fresh vote when all REAL cards are on table.
@BBCr4today@JosephMuscat_JM Contrary to what Brexiteers say, now real implications are known and given result of recent UK polls, it wud be a democratic travesty if 2nd vote not held.
@JosephMuscat_JM Contrary to what the Brexiteers say, it wud be a democratic travesty if the 2nd vote was not held. Devies yesterday finally let it out. May cannot agree to it only because it wud make EU negotiate harder. Polls now in favour of remain and real picture is clearer
@BBCWBeaver@HerrFizz@Stone_SkyNews@JosephMuscat_JM@SkyNews Yes the 28 as equals agreed the rules on the single market. Now the one exiting wants the 27 to change the rules to create a superior of that one. It is not Malta that has a lot to learn. Once UK leaves 27 remain equal.
@PES_PSE@JosephMuscat_JM We need The European Socialists today more than we ever have. Alliances with like minded progressive groups in Europe and across the Atlantic needed.
@paul__johnson@Earthling70@guardian@FT@EveningStandard@thetimes@Telegraph@MetroUK@YouGov It is incomprehensible how Brexiteers can say another referendum would be undemocratic. Just as an indivudual has the right to change her mind so too can a nation. Given the uk polls today, denying the 2nd vote once exit terms are known wud be the democratic travesty.
@MicaMuscat The list of new regulations and improvements by the PL over five years that improve the rule of law in Malta exceeds by a mile those introduced by the PN in their previous 25.
@saviourbalzan@ClintCamilleri@BirdLife_Malta@marksult123@JosephMuscat_JM If true then there exists a conflict of interest true but why question our democracy which gives u the right to own a daily (good luck to you), tweet, write, create awareness of the existence of this conflict. That is what it is a conflict which shud not be.
