@HMRCcustomers Good morning I paid a full years NI contributions as a self employed consultant on the understanding that it would contribute to my Stare Pension. I have now found out that is not the case. Can I claim the amount I paid to you back? If so how do I go about it?
@HMRCcustomers I have been waiting for over a year for you to sort out a missing weeks NI contribution that would give me a full state pension. When I use the HMRC App for the relevant year it still says it is being looked into! How can this take a year when I have paid the week twice?
@HMRCcustomers I paid my NI contributions for 2021-22 through my Tax Return in April 2022. However I am 1year short of NI contributions at the moment so I don’t get my full state pension. Therefore will paying full NI contribution for the tax year 2022-23 will get me the full state pension?
@HMRCcustomers Thanks Rob. I just hope it’s allocated to the correct year. My last NI contribution when I complete my tax return this year will be in June. Can I pay an additional contribution to top up the year so I get the full state pension?
@HMRCcustomers I have tried 5 times over the last three days to get through and got cut off or couldn’t get through. I managed to find a different number and I hope it’s been sorted and goes to the right place
@HMRCcustomers Good morning I have just spent another hour on hold to HMRC National Insurance and couldn’t get through. I tried another number and managed to pay the one week shortfall in NI without the 18 character code. Will it appear on my account in a few weeks?
@HMRCcustomers I have tried for the third time to contact HMRC about NI twice today at 8.30 when supposedly less busy. I was on hold for over 50 minutes and didn’t get through.Tried again this afternoon was put on hold for 70 minutes and then cut off as they were too busy. Disgraceful service
@HMRCcustomers When are your phone lines going to be back up and running? I have been trying to contact HMRC for 4 days now and due to Technical difficulties the phone lines aren’t available?
@iqmaward@MrsMcDHT_Thatto About time Lou. I’ve no doubt you will be outstanding just like you were all those years ago in school 😀 Best wishes and enjoy your first assessment you will enjoy it.
