Well, I guess the cat is out of the bag. Tomorrow is my last day with Golden West. After 12 years (minus 5 months in 2022), I am moving on to a different opportunity that will allow me to work from home for the most part while still staying in an industry that I love.

@SuePatrick2441 I'm more concerned with plays that are dangerous/have resulted in lengthy suspensions in other leagues. Those need to be called every time.

I don't criticize officiating in hockey, publicly, very often... But if any injuries happen in tonight's WEY-NIP game, the referees need to bear some of the blame. So far I have seen 3 CFBs, two pulldowns on breakaways, a blow to the head and an attempted judo throw all uncalled.

Some interesting stats from last night's @weyburnredwings . The 12-0 win over Notre Dame was the largest margin of victory in @theSJHL since Nov 8/07 [EST (13) vs BAT (0)], and the 12 goals was the first time a team has scored that many since Nov 20/09 [FF (12) vs WEY (1)].

Angelo Zol's 5th shutut is the most by a Red Wing goaltender in a season since Jack Burgart had five 10 years ago.

This was a game for the ages not only for the Red Wings, but the SJHL.
