Must have been scraping the barrel for some of these.
Dowmans 6 app 1g
Rio 19app 2g 1a
Mainoo 28 app 1g 2a
Cherki 33ap 4g 12a
Kroupi 33ap 13g
NoR 34ap 5g 4a
Kroupi most breakthrough as first season in top flight (NoR second, Dowman and Rio first).
Kroupi should win.
@Nuel006 If Fernandes is 80(aka priced to cover West Ham’s relegation losses). Then Anderson at £120m is a steal
Similar scenario Fernandes at 50m versus Anderson at 90m (both 40m differential in the market)
@Muppetiers Theyve named a price to cover their relegation shortfall and not have to sell other players.
They will get negotiated down (same with Ea@125m) until later days of the window.
@FrankEra_ It's going one of two ways:
City bid
City get told no / get told pay X
And then either City pay or united do.
If neither do then forest sit with Anderson or the allure of lower money at the end of window.
@commissionase Fernandes would be backup to "MAIN CDM" same as Baleba
Ederson is backup/rotation with Mainoo
Main DM is "Dream signing Anderson/Tcoumeni"
per @business
- Some members of the Glazer family been debating whether to sell their stake in #mufc.
- Internal discussions initially centered on stake sales by some individual family members, who now hoping to convince others to join them.
- Deliberations came as #mufc’s owners face potential multibillion-pound bill to redevelop Old Trafford + recent recent UCL qualification comes with fresh earnings potential, providing incentive to remain invested.
- The Glazer family as a whole hasn’t made a decision to exit, different family members still discussing the best path forward. Some remain against a sale & it could be difficult to pursue a deal unless they come around.
- Any potential sale could attract interest from Middle Eastern + US investors (they would facebog price tag)
- A spokesperson for Ineos didn’t immediately respond to queries
Fernandes for 40m because Baleba is also 40m now. It'll be one or the other. WHAM either play ball or he has to be sold elsewhere.
Anderson at 125. Is too expensive but I'd rather a 105-125m Anderson and Ederson over a Fernandes / Anderson / Baleba for a similar total price.
Manchester United fans in a nutshell:
Elliot Anderson for £125m? “Too expensive.”
Mateus Fernandes for £80m? “Ridiculous fee.”
Ederson for £38m? “Overpriced.”
I expect Fernandes fee to be negotiated down but calling £38m for Ederson excessive is baffling. That is a reasonable price for an experienced midfielder entering his prime.
You can’t ask for younger, Premier League-proven with high ceilings and bag of potentials then complain about the fees involved.
The market isn’t what it was 10 years ago. Clubs don’t sell their best players cheaply anymore especially when they’re young, available and in demand.
Let’s just sign Hayden Hackney, Tomas Soucek and Christian Norgaard instead, then share the remaining budget among the fanbase.
Everyone wants quality until it’s time to pay for it.
You don’t build a competitive team by hunting for bargains every summer and if we truly want players who can improve the team immediately while still offering long-term value, then we have to accept the demands of the market and negotiate where possible.
The real question isn’t how much these players cost, it’s whether they’re good enough to raise the level of the squad. If yes, do the needful.
Quality isn’t cheap.
I'm sorry but what player let alone the literal best striker in the world says
"yeah I'll play if you win some bullshit presidency campaign".
I speak for every player (of which I know zero) and can still tell you they don't give a fuck 😂
🚨 | HUGE BREAKING : HAALAND 🇳🇴
Real Madrid Presidential Candidate, Enrique Riquelme has ANNOUNCED Erling Haaland as his AGREED SIGNING, if he is elected! 🚨
ERLING HAALAND. 🇳🇴🚨⚪️#RMCF
@PaddyKeoghAF Is the plan that ->
Ederson plays rotation with Mainoo
Fernandes/Baleba + Main DM (Anderson/Tcoumeni) play as the DM role in the double pivot?
@UTDKarra You're getting baited.
We're linked to a load of the names suggested and more. Ederson is the first of a flurry of signings and getting signings done consistently early is a blessing for the Ineos staff; as we all know if this was Woodward we'd get ONLY EDERSON on deadline day.
🚨 Manchester United reach agreement with Atalanta to sign Ederson. Price for 26yo midfielder €40.5m fixed + €4.5m of potential bonuses. Personal terms in place on 4+1yr deal. Must still do medical & all parties plan to complete early July @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/OgkmPEYVg7
