@Verydakman_ Yes citizens are even suffering harder now than the. But since baba desire not to protect let just forget about baba.
Baba has not power. We have to held our government responsible for it not baba
@MobilePunch โFrom another perspective, even a fool appears wise when he remains silent. There are moments when silence is more honorable than speaking carelessly. A few moments of restraint can preserve more dignity than a thousand unnecessary words.โ
@trending_news72 My own question is will @inecnigeria will conduct free and fair election
Cuz is one thing to vote him out is another thing to announce him as loser
RCCG's PR team has been trying very hard to rage-bait and gaslight Nigerians since morning, and I'm glad more people are beginning to see through it.
I say this with my full chest: RCCG has gradually turned into the religious political wing of the APC. I didn't stutter.
What's sad is that I say this as someone who spent years in the church. I honestly don't recognize it anymore.
In the clip being circulated, Pastor E.A. Adeboye said a lot of things, but when you strip away the words, it sounds very similar to the vague statement Davido came online to make a few days ago. At one point, he said, and I quote, "...in case there is any of you who can get across to them."
"Them" being the government.
The same government whose First Lady is an ordained RCCG pastor. The same government to which he arguably has one of the closest lines of access among Nigerian religious leaders.
RCCG's official page also replied to someone and said, and I quote: "An 84-year-old man should go lead a protest for your own future?... You are not ready."
Interesting.
An 84-year-old man is apparently too old to lead a peaceful protest, but not too old to remain General Overseer of one of the largest churches in the world.
You also pointed out that he joined a peaceful walk in 2020 under the directive of CAN.
So what exactly has changed?
Has Nigeria improved so dramatically since then that peaceful public advocacy is no longer necessary? Or are we supposed to believe that a man of his influence suddenly has no voice within CAN and no ability to push for similar action today?
As for CAN, I have a lot to say, but that deserves an entire post of its own.
What Nigerians will not accept is this attempt to gaslight people about the radio silence, political apathy, and consistent reluctance of many religious leaders to challenge power when it matters most.
Leadership comes with responsibility.
You cannot command the loyalty, attention, and obedience of millions of people and then expect people to keep quiet when you donโt speak up the right way.
The reason RCCG's PR team is suddenly working overtime is simple: Nigerians are becoming bolder. People are suffering more. And when suffering reaches a certain point, people stop whispering and start speaking their minds.
Pastor Adeboye Did Not Protest Against President Goodluck Jonathanโs Government
A false narrative has been circulating online, accompanied by a photograph of Pastor E.A. Adeboye holding a placard during a public walk. The image has repeatedly been misrepresented as evidence that Pastor Adeboye led or participated in a protest against the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.
This claim is FALSE.
The photograph in question was taken during a peaceful nationwide walk held in response to a directive issued by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) during the administration of the late President Muhammadu Buhari. Churches across Nigeria were instructed to hold peaceful walks after service, calling attention to the persistent killings of Christians and urging the government to take decisive action to protect lives.
The walk in Ebute Metta, where Pastor Adeboye participated, was part of that nationwide exercise. It was neither organized against President Goodluck Jonathan nor connected in any way to his administration.
Ironically, despite the significant media presence at the event when it took place, some of the same photographs have years later been recycled and falsely presented as evidence of a protest against a completely different government.
It is important to note that Pastor Adeboyeโs message during the walk was clear: all lives matter to God. His placard emphasized the value of every human life, regardless of religious affiliation. The call was for the protection of innocent Nigerians, both Christians and Muslims.
Yes, Nigeria is facing enormous challenges, and citizens have every right to desire solutions. However, the growing demand that Pastor Adeboye should โcommandโ the President or the First Lady on how to run the affairs of the nation is both unrealistic and unreasonable.
Pastor Adeboye is a clergyman, not the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
Nevertheless, he has not remained silent.
During the November 2025 Holy Ghost Service, Pastor Adeboye publicly offered counsel to the President of Nigeria regarding the worsening security situation and the continued killing of innocent citizens by terrorists. He warned that urgent action was necessary before foreign powers found justification to intervene in Nigeria under the guise of combating terrorism.
He further advised that security chiefs should be given a clear ultimatum to decisively address the menace or vacate their positions.
In his words:
โWhen they eliminate the terrorists, ask them to eliminate their sponsors too.โ
At 84 years old, Pastor Adeboye continues to provide spiritual leadership, moral counsel, and national guidance within the limits of his office as a minister of the Gospel.
For the avoidance of doubt:
โข Pastor Adeboye cannot command the President or the First Lady on how to govern Nigeria.
โข Pastor Adeboye and RCCG are not responsible for the current challenges facing the nation.
โข RCCG is not a political party.
โข Pastor Adeboye does not hold political office and was not elected into government.
โข RCCG is not the religious arm of any political party in Nigeria.
Facts matter. Context matters. Truth matters.

Why Reuben Abati and many Nigerians want the DSS to investigate Wikeโs media aide, Lere Olayinka
This matter is no longer just about Emeka Ike or politics. It has now become a serious question about INEC, voter privacy, data security, and the integrity of Nigeriaโs electoral system.
The controversy started after Lere Olayinka, media aide to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, reportedly posted details of actor Emeka Ikeโs voter registration transfer, claiming that Emeka Ike was previously registered in Imo State and only transferred his registration to the FCT on May 15, 2026.
But Nigerians quickly noticed something more serious: the screenshots he shared allegedly appeared to come from an INEC administrative backend portal, not the normal public voter-verification platform available to ordinary Nigerians.
That is why Dr. Reuben Abati and many concerned citizens are asking a very important question:
How did a political aide allegedly gain access to information that appears to belong to INECโs restricted system?
If Lere Olayinka got the information legally, Nigerians deserve to know who authorised the access and why such private voter data was made public. But if the information was obtained through unauthorised access, then the DSS, INEC, and cybercrime authorities must take this matter seriously.
This is not a small issue. If politicians or their aides can access INECโs backend whenever they want, then what happens to the personal data of millions of Nigerian voters? What happens to public trust in INEC? What happens to the credibility of the 2027 election?
The bigger concern is this: if a voterโs record can be exposed today for political attack, tomorrow it could be anyoneโs data.
INEC must explain whether its system was breached, whether an insider leaked the information, or whether certain political actors have special access to sensitive electoral records.
Nigerians are not asking for drama. Nigerians are asking for transparency, accountability, and equal protection of voter data.
The DSS should investigate this matter thoroughly, and if any law was broken, the necessary legal action should follow. INEC must also reassure Nigerians that its database is secure and not available to politicians for personal or political battles.
What do you think? Should Lere Olayinka be investigated by the DSS, or is this being blown out of proportion? Drop your opinion in the comments, share this post, and follow this page for more updates on Nigerian politics, INEC, and the 2027 elections.
Touch not My anointed is often quoted, yet it should never be used to shield anyone from accountability. It is a pity to see many young people speak carelessly about men of God without wisdom, honor, or understanding.
Today, I want to set the record straight about Daddy Adeboye.
The same energy some of you have used to attack a man who has spent over 50 years building a reputation for integrity in both ministry and life, use that same energy to share the truth.
1. Daddy Adeboye has never joined a political protest in Nigeria under any administration. Not under Obasanjo. Not under Goodluck Jonathan. Not under Buhari. Not under Tinubu.
Fact-check me. If I'm wrong, I'll delete this post.
2. The pictures circulating online of him holding placards were taken during a prayer walk he organized for church members in 2020. Those are the same pictures some people are now using to claim that he protested against Goodluck Jonathan.
The irony is that those pictures were taken during Buhari's administration, not Jonathan's.
Fact-check me. If I'm wrong, I'll delete this post.
Check the comment section. You'll find the link to that prayer walk.
3. Pastor Adeboye has never publicly endorsed or campaigned for any political candidate or political party throughout his years of public ministry.
Fact-check me. If you find a video proving otherwise, I'll delete this post.
What is most disappointing is that many of the people spreading this propaganda are not Muslims. They are people who call themselves Christians.
They go to church on Sunday, then spend the rest of the week spreading misinformation about men of God and the Church.
I pity you.
Very soon, you'll discover that life is bigger than impressions, engagements, and social media payouts.
If you want to criticize a man old enough to be your grandfather, at least have your facts right. Why tell lies about men of God and the church just to gain attention?
