Hi everyone,

This is my cousin Rodrigo. He is 33 and lives in my hometown of Saltillo, Mexico. He's a digital artist, a jujitsu competitor, and teaches self-defense to visually impaired people — all while slowly losing his own vision to retinitis pigmentosa.

He's never once used it as an excuse to stop.

There's a phase 3 treatment in Pennsylvania (Oculgen 400) that could halt the disease and restore part of his visual field. It costs $40,000 USD, paid up front, and covers surgery, travel, and care.

Our family is chipping in. His GoFundMe is at about 10%. I'm sharing because the more people hear his story, the closer he gets to keeping his sight.
