@OutOfStateOs Hey remember Thursday when Owings had an infield hit, stole second, then not scored what turned out to be the winning run on Cedrics single? Didn’t think you did
@Nicole__Meiner But the Kentucky derby, with all of it’s prestige, is still just a single grade 1 race. When it’s all said & done, Curlin will have sired a lot more graded stakes winners.
@wowhorse Can you imagine if Twitter existed in 1920, what kind of furor there would have been about Man o war skipping the derby to run in the Preakness & Belmont ?
@raypaulick It wasn’t until I was an owner that I realized how tall of an order it is to win 3 grade 1’s in 8 weeks. Hell, it’s a tall order to win 3 races of ANY kind in a row
@Bryant_HRD Pimlico is typically speed favoring, and in the Preakness, it’s best to have tactical speed. I doubt we’ll have :21/:45 & change fractions to run into either.
@TravisStone Many don’t realize when you see a horse like Rich Strike make a move like that, part of what you’re seeing are other horses slowing down, making it somewhat of an optical illusion
