@StephenFlynnSNP If jurisdiction could be argued, it may breech the Unfair Terms and Conditions Act. Specifically: terms caused a significant imbalance to the consumer's detriment. I’m going to email Trading Standards and see what they think. They sell in our market.
This is the sort of adolescent political posturing which could cost tens of thousands of skilled jobs across the UK, but concentrated in the North East of Scotland. Miliband should remember that in Government, careless talk costs jobs. (1/4)
It is also very important to note that every member of the privileges committee, including every Tory MP, concluded that Boris Johnson should be suspended for more than 10 days, the threshold of a possible by-election, even before he committed the contempt of leaking and attacking the committee's report. "We unanimously concluded that the minimum sanction we should recommend to the House should be suspension from the service of the House sufficient to engage the provisions of the Recall of MPs Act," the report says. They decided on this sanction because: "We have concluded...that in deliberately misleading the House Mr Johnson committed a serious contempt. The contempt was all the more serious because it was committed by the Prime Minister, the most senior member of the government. There is no precedent for a Prime Minister having been found to have deliberately misled the House. He misled the House on an issue of the greatest importance to the House and to the public, and did so repeatedly. He declined our invitation to reconsider his assertions that what he said to the House was truthful. His defence to the allegation that he misled was an ex post facto justification and no more than an artifice. He misled the Committee in the presentation of his evidence."
Fantastic performance from Scotland. And England were excellent too. “What. A. Game.” is absolutely right, and that’s what makes that win one to savour.
FULL TIME: Scotland 3-0 Ukraine.
A terrific second half from Scotland sees us claim all three points against Ukraine, thanks to goals from John McGinn and Lyndon Dykes.
We're back at @HampdenPark on Saturday to face the Republic of Ireland.

53 years ago today, Apollo 9 launched into Earth's orbit. This pivotal early mission was critical to proving the capabilities of the complete Apollo spacecraft and paved the way for our historic Moon landing four months later. We couldn't have done it without them.
Excellent performance by Scotland and a very important three points away to Austria. Denmark are clearly the team of this group, but we’ve given ourselves a real chance of taking second and qualifying that way. Great stuff.
