@_jayskiii4@ejwowz@TAizenberg Can’t be the ONLY guy when he had a running mate that scored 20+ twice the last 3 games. It’s not like Steph was just going off he scored more than 25 two times games 3-6. I already acknowledged Klay wasn’t good offensively, but if he’s hitting or not still gotta play him close
@_jayskiii4@ejwowz@TAizenberg Thompson didn’t score 20 that entire series. The never next game after scoring 20 Mozgov scored 0 points. It’s not a discredit to Steph saying his team was better, bc he makes the system work along with Klay. But facts are facts
@_jayskiii4@ejwowz@TAizenberg Well Iggy dropped 20+ twice in games 3-6, Dray had a triple double and gave you at least 16 and 7 the final 3 games. Doesn’t matter that Klay wasn’t on. You still have to stick to him like glue which creates space for Steph to operate. And Steph only scored more than 30 one time
@dbsisnsbsj@SarksDaddy The same way they missed a clear out of bounds that the Spurs couldn’t challenge then got a tech for. But I guess you didn’t have a problem with that
@SarksDaddy@UnSportsESPN@PatCostello20 OKC players go into the paint without even looking at the rim, they get offensive boards and kick the ball back out to the perimeter. With or without the bs calls the Spurs deserved to lose Game 3 and Game 5, the Thunder are shooting better from behind the arc. That I can’t argue
@SarksDaddy@UnSportsESPN@PatCostello20 4th quarter of last night wasn’t false propaganda. The first 3 quarters were officiated well in my opinion, just as Game 3 and Game 4. But I haven’t seen you acknowledge the bs calls in favor of OKC
@wizarain@justize28 They lost in the Finals. A stacked team doesn’t need time to prepare for 1 guy leaving. Bulls won 55 games w/o MJ, made it to rd 2. Adding in Wade’s injuries is further proof the deck wasn’t as stacked as you say. Heat were 23-31 when Chris Bosh went out that next season
@wizarain@justize28 Why did that 4th and 5th pick miss the playoffs the very next year (in the “weak” East) when LeBron left if the team was so stacked? Not a choke, LeBron just became more aggressive and GSW didn’t have answers. He took more shots, and scored more points than in any of the losses
@wizarain@justize28 When did he stack the deck? Never had more than 1 All NBA teammate on his team. He didn’t have elite benches, never had a teammate win 6th man of the year. With this logic Kobe & Mike had stacked teams. GSW didn’t choke, they ran into the best player in the world at that time
