@tomwookieford@ListerLawrence@JethroBovingdon I try to explain it to people that public charging out and about is like filling up your ICE at the mway services. Ya just avoid it at all costs. Emergency’s only. If you filled up exclusively at mway you’d be moaning on twitter A LOT more!
@lemans10 @Martinbosveld @AutoPap@Wigapedia At least you can use those resources repeatedly rather than into a puff of smoke up in to the atmosphere? 🤷♂️
@TimAhmet@ListerLawrence@Ayrhead2@tiff_tv I’ll presume your facts are correct, but we’re not comparing apples w apples. What’s the replacement cost of the 5.0 sc V8? Performance terms they’re more similar!
@Dontdenytruth_@Mendelpol@Nigel_Farage I think the key words of your referred ‘facts’ are “in the United Kingdom”. Brexit has pushed away key parts of the national workforce which would plug the very gaps you’re highlighting
@EdConwaySky@bankofengland C’mon Ed, you’re better than that. How intertwined the global economy is. USD = World Reserve Currency. UK might have been the spark, but it’s the fragility and interdependence of markets that’s the problem here. The virtuous circle continues. Hyperbolic headlines don’t help!
@jpurle@Doorespect@NickWaterhouse6@gaijinrose@sophielouisecc Actually. For every £2 someone earns above £240k they lose £1 of their £40k tax free pension allowance. If they just kept it simple I’m sure there would be less of an incentive to scheme above £240k etc. Ultimately increasing benefits for both individuals and HMRC?
@joshjones55 Not saying I agree or disagree. We either live in a capitalist society or we don’t. Where do they stop if they start? Why wasn’t there a windfall tax on all the food retailers when they were booming during CV lockdowns?People need help. The gov has plenty of other means to do so
@adamRrrr@DuncanBannatyne He’s right about Rishi and all politicians for that matter. But unless you’re paying FULL tax liabilities in the UK you’re a hypocrite and should keep your opinions muted. Or pay your way in the UK from your UK income.
