Deep inner suffering inevitably arises when the human person is reduced to performance, consumption, or a statistical datum. Many young people today live under the yoke of expectations to perform, immersed in an exasperated competitiveness that generates anxiety, fear of not measuring up, and disorientation.
No nation, no society, and no international order can call itself just and humane if it measures its success solely by power or prosperity while neglecting those who live at the margins. Indeed, Christ’s love for the least and the forgotten compels us to reject every form of selfishness that leaves the poor and the vulnerable invisible.
Criticism. If we are unwilling to criticize students, they won't get better. If we are unwilling to accept criticism, we won't get better. However, criticism unaccompanied by compliment isn't criticism, it's abuse.

When a student acts inappropriately ask:
"Why do you think that is okay?"
"How can you help fix this situation?"
"What can we do differently next time?"
Questions build reflection. Reflection builds change.
