A Sydney mother and teacher, Leah Stewart, has been identified as the shark attack victim at Coogee beach on Saturday.
Leah has sustained multiple severe injuries and has undergone numerous surgeries including the amputation of her arm.
She remains in critical condition as the family have started a GoFundMe for her long journey ahead.

This is the shot that actually got a gasp out of me on my second watch. The balloon floating among the clouds in the surreally vivid vista behind the strip mall. Absolutely unnerving.
Another thing I really liked about Backrooms was how all the outside world locations had their own feeling of strange unreality.

@iamrobothead i’d argue it’s not even special event TV, it’s just a mid-season 3-episode standalone story arc that has no real weight or bearing on the narrative and somehow got the big screen treatment

my HUGE problem with people wanting this to be a for the solar system (other than it being a horrible design for a flag) is that it is missing MAJOR aspect from Voyager: the diagram of a hydrogen atom that is the literal key to deciphering it
without it, it's just gibberish

@sporadica I cannot believe I've gone so long in my life without realising this was Andy Weir. This story touched me when I first discovered it as a teenager in like 2010/11 or something (via gmod video on youtube of all things lol)
So I was sleeping on how incredible even the day 1 and 2 photos would be. The aesthetic is different from the Hasselblads but the Art II photos will be remembered forever. Aura, as the kids say.
