@profitecpro@RevReads289 This sounds like the only proof you would consider to be valid is empirical. Is that accurate, or would you agree that there are things that we can know that science cannot prove?
@RevReads289 I agree. Eph. 2:8 gets used to defend this idea, with the “this” incorrectly attributed to the word “faith” rather than the whole string of thought. A quick look into the grammar clears this up.
@JosiahHawthorne How do you define Christian Nationalist? Or is there a good article you’d recommend reading? Honest question. Maybe I’m late to the party, but I feel like it’s now used for normie Christins who just don’t want child genital mutilation.
The FDA has approved a new abortion drug, which may render its promised “safety study” of chemical abortions irrelevant. I want to know how this happened.
@jonharris1989 Met online, talked on the phone for hours, dated for one year & got married. She loves the Lord & we wanted the same things in life. It became clear any hesitation was simply based in fear - best decision I ever made!
In this context, “transcend” means something like “lose with plausible deniability.”
It’s piously surrendering to wicked men and ideologies in such a way that you can shift blame for the consequences to the sovereignty of God.
We “transcended” (=abdicated/surrendered) and the world was transformed (=ruined by evil men).
@Sean_McDowell My parents rent a room to a young man who’s not a Christian, but he’s seen their faith lived out. He told them that Charlie is a martyr, that he’s been convicted of many things, and that he can’t keep living the way he has been. They’re taking him to church & reading scripture.
