๐บ New video! I paid $6 to get into a Honolulu vintage show hunting for retro computers. Found handheld Pac-Man, soup can radios, Star Trek II film cells & Chanute Field postcards from my Air Force days.
Did I find a computer? ๐

@iamvishal16_ios I don't have any other AI pro accounts so wouldn't be able to add those models to this app. Glad the community came through with an option for you.
@je4ndev Those were just added today at the last moment when I had an issue. I'll keep updating with additional features and streamlining the interface.
@0xWuki Thanks. It was fun to put together and I love that @grok can help me create tools that I need and not just some bloatware. It's highly customized to my usage, but hopefully the preferences area will allow others to modify it to their needs.
@not_sacke Thanks! I tried to put some real thought into the UI so it's helpful for not only me, but others. There were MANY iterations and it had to be a `brew` app! :D
๐ด LIVE Sunday at 2 PM EDT / 1 PM CDT: six of the newest MEGA65 games and apps, tested live, and we'll try to break every one. Plus Commodore and Atari news.

Built with @grok's Grok Bot. Free, and tips for my time (see page) are welcome but not required.
Heads up: GrokGauge is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by xAI. It reads usage from an undocumented endpoint that could change or break at any time. It's ad-hoc signed and not notarized yet, and your login never leaves your Mac. Use at your own risk. ๐
The retroCombs Supporters page just got a refresh! ๐พ Every membership level now has its own Commodore-inspired badge, from PET (Mono) to MEGAโก65 (FPGA). Thank you to the best supporters in the world! ๐

To say The Lovely Accountant and I had a "good" time in Hawai'i would be a gross understatement. And there was retro computing along the way. "Video at 11." Mahalo! ๐ค๐ผ๐๏ธ
I'm the same age as I Dream of Jeannie! Loved that show. Too young to watch on network TV, but would watch it in syndication after school. Always more favored than Bewitched because it was NASA and Air Force adjacent. Oh, and of course, @Barbara_Eden!
We donโt often think about the passage of time when weโre living in the moment. While today marks the 61st anniversary of I Dream of Jeannie, 61 years into the future was the furthest thought from my mind on that frigid day in December of 1964.
That was when we filmed the pilot on the beach at Point Dume!
When youโre filming on location, you donโt think about anything other than work. After all, daylight is changing, shadows are moving, wind is blowing. We were there to get the shots and get the job done on schedule.
Between hitting our marks and getting the shots, the biggest memory that stands out that day is that it was so horribly cold! There I was in a harem costume on the beach in December, shivering! It was so cold my lips were blue!
I look back now, at that day, and I truly cannot quite express how amazing it is to me that 61 years later, Jeannie is still with me. I had no idea what was starting on that beach, or how it would find a home in the hearts of so many, for so many years.
I also had no expectation that Jeannie, a delightful mythological, classic entity, would still be here! But she is, just over my shoulder, watching over everything!
I think of those magical 5 years of my life, where every day was an adventure. Between Larry and Billy and Hayden, and the whole crew, we never knew what would happen! Even with a script in hand, you could never predict everything. From our hilarious guest stars, to being locked in a safe and playing the wonderfully mischievous naughty twin sisterโฆ
Iโve said it many times and I mean it every time; I Dream of Jeannie was often more fun than work.
Hereโs to 61 years of magic! To all the laughter, all the joy, all the silliness and adventures that remain with me in my heart today.
Hereโs to you, the fans! Your love, dedication and fascination with the show keeps the magic alive. I cannot thank you enough for the love youโve shown me and for the memories youโve helped keep bright.
Happy Anniversary Jeannie, still bringing laughs, granting wishes and reminding me of what a joy it was. -Barbara Eden
Rumors continue about @ToysRUs opening stores. But if we don't see the return of this department, I'm out. ๐ Hey, @commodoreofcl, how about stocking some shiny new C64 Ultimates in these stores?
