You’re so off base. I looked at your 𝕏 posts. All pro-death pro-abortion and atheist. I don’t understand why you care to defend your stance. @Abe9061 @5Solas Again the king James was written in 1611 English. Words change over time over 400 years. And the original The Hebrew word ra has two meanings. Just like many English words that have two meanings. Context is always needed.

The ESV (modern language for our time) is translated from Hebrew as:
“I form light and create darkness;
I make well-being and create calamity;
I am the LORD, who does all these things.”

So it appears he is bringing bad circumstances, not “creating” evil in terms of spiritual evil. The word evil in 1611 (king James) probably meant “hard times”.
