@PennStateFball Football Recruiting Assistant. RIP Pops. 🇨🇺 1OVE. God's Soldier. Union City, NJ. Former Pro Athlete. Penn State Letterman/Alum 15’-19’.
Well, I never would have thought the time would come where I officially announce my retirement from the game I love so much.
First, I want to thank God for blessing me with the physical ability to play the game of football. For 20+ years, He has allowed me to play the game I love so much and walk away with no major injuries. Through the ups and the downs, He has been with me through it all.
Next, I want to thank my parents for supporting me and getting me to this point. Thank you Mom for your endless love and support and being there at every game you could. Going to all my games my senior season of college, thank you and I love you @MarleneMonzon1. Pops, thank you for introducing me to the game you loved and showing me how to love it. You saw the beginning of what would become a successful journey and were not able to see it come into fruition. But you were absolutely spot on, your son was a star. I love you forever Pops and I know you’re watching down extremely proud of the man I became.
Thank you to all of my family and friends who have supported me throughout my entire journey. I appreciate all of your love and support, showing up to games, watching from home. You are the lifeblood of my fan base.
To the @UCFOOTBALLNJ and my former teammates. You all started my journey and we made incredible memories together. Thank you so much for showing me that a kid from Union City, NJ could make it to big time Division 1 football and to the NFL.
To @PennStateFball thank you for helping mold me into the man I am today. I am grateful for all of my teammates and the memories we shared together.
To @Anthony_Becht I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to keep on playing the game I love, even after the NFL shut its doors on me 5 different times. It’s the nature of the business, but you helped pull me out of the pit I was in at the time and gave me a chance to make a name for myself. For that I am forever grateful.
To @10AJMcCarron thank you for giving me the opportunity to become a Stallion. You made sure I didn’t get lost in the shuffle with all the new league changes. Although I was excited to play and bring another championship to Birmingham, I still wish you all the best of luck this season.
Looking forward to what God has in store next for me on this journey 🙏
