@mynamesmikeok@kershaw_alex@WWIIMemorial As you say, the buildings are pretty much as they were. Totally by chance re: the lifeboat; it's always been kept on the same short pier but fortunately wasn't out when I arrived.
@Heccles94 Totally agree re: no tolerance to bigotry, but will 'love, unity & solidarity' fix the potholes? And as far as I'm aware dancing & partying isn't going to fix the economy. It'll be fun of course, but then Saturday night is always more fun than Sunday morning. #makenormalnormal
Hello @greateranglia I arrived at Ipswich today with some heavy luggage. The lift from the platform to the main exit is out of order so I asked one of the station staff for help only for them to say ‘not my problem’ & the proceed to watch a 67yr old struggle.
@London_W4 Indeed it is. Let me know if I can help, I'm just up the road. I'm in Devon this weekend but happy to get you out to your sailing boat via our tender if you're still around next week?
@stellacreasy Manners? I agree that shouting at someone in public isn’t great, but doesn’t engaging with the voting public matter more to the @UKLabour party at the moment? A smug, sarcastically condescending attitude is not a good look.

@HoldDasso When actually confronted by a member of the voting public (& forgive me for stereotyping, but like me, one of England's working class) the @UKLabour & Rachel from Accounts score another own goal in a missed PR opportunity by not actually engaging with the chap.
@JakeBenRichards@RachelReevesMP Really? Good for her for not engaging with a member of the public? Shame on her more like it. A missed 'real' opportunity for some much needed PR, another own goal for Rachel from Accounts & the Labour Party.
Had the great pleasure of taking this beautiful Searanger 44 from Plymouth to the IOM recently. My first time transiting the Menai Straits was one of the many highlights of a very enjoyable delivery.
@London_W4@Dan4Barnet The irony is that the £3.5bn the Government are spending annually on housing & caring for people who arrive illegally into the UK could buy 135 £10m houses.
