@riger1984 You can't tell me that if it was game 7 of the World Series and the bases were juiced early in the game, AJ would sit Carp down and have Jones pick up a bat. So why TF do it now? Even though they won today was my breaking point.
@riger1984 This team is not serious about winning and it's a collective problem all the way from the top down. Meaning, you can't blame Hinch or Harris without also blaming Ilitch. Ilitch could change this, but he's directly complacent. I'm out.
@Bschabath3@971theticketxyt@stoney16 Absolutely. Always have respected you for having a professional radio voice. Hope to hear a lot more of you in the future!
@riger1984 It could. Just have to find a QB that makes everyone around him better rather than having limitations that require near perfection to effectively run the offense.
@TomAllmann@riger1984 Vierling is a Harris guy so he's not going anywhere, Perez has at least shown flashes, I have no idea how Mckinstry was randomly an all star last year, 3 letters for Jones DFA and no clue how Rogers is still on this team with the catcher depth in the minors.
@MarcRyanOnAir Listening to you on Audacy Rewind. MSU is down worse than the Wings. Haven't made a bowl game in π in 5 years, just watched Michigan win a π in 'their' sport. Currently paying 3 football coaches and lost their president + AD...
@riger1984 In the meantime, bet responsibly, but I have a good feeling about Matt Fitzpatrick in the U.S Open. He won it in 22, has great scrambling statistics and handles the wind well (up to 30 mph gusts)
@riger1984 This is terrible for radio though. I can stomach a few Skubal shows, but then I'm out. Personally, I think Hinch needs to go, Harris needs to go and Ilitch needs to sell the team.
@riger1984 So you're telling me that they're basically the best team in baseball since getting Melton, Carpenter and Torres back. I guess the injuries were the problem...
@riger1984 I'll just default back to what I said when they were playing the Rays June 1st. Go 18-9 this month and I'm bought back in. That may have seemed like a reach then, but now it's just go 13-8 the rest of the month and I'm back in.
@riger1984 If Larkin really wants out he may widen his scope of potential teams he's willing to be traded to. Yzerman not being bullied means that he maximized his trade options. So yes it is possible for Yzerman to not be bullied and still trade Larkin.
@mjbumba@riger1984 If Larkin is the problem then that's still on Yzerman because he has kept the problem around rather than trading him sooner and fixing it.
