March is Women's History Month! We thank all of the women who have made countless contributions to the success of the School District of Palm Beach County and who continue to inspire thousands of girls in our schools every day.
One example of a historic figure who is recognized during Women's History Month is Dr. Maya Angelou, who believed in the transformative power of education and the importance of being a lifelong learner.
Today is my last day with @WPBF25News, bringing an end to an amazing four and a half years of having the privilege to tell your stories here in Palm Beach County and on the Treasure Coast. I have been on the air day in and day in times of joy and intense sorrow and loss, bringing light to a variety of topics and also celebrating various achievements in our community. I considered my role as a TV journalist not just a job, but a chance to connect with the great people of our wonderful South Florida community.
Today is also my last day as a TV reporter, after dedicating myself to this job for 12 years. In 2013, I began reporting at @WYMT Mountain News in Hazard, Kentucky before heading to @KIEMNews News Channel 3 in Eureka, California and then to Savannah, GA (@WJCLNews ), then the Piedmont Triad in North Carolina at @WXII before I arrived in Palm Beach County in March 2020.
I am thrilled to announce that on Monday I begin my new role with @pbcsd as a Media Relations Specialist. Now, the stories I tell will be about the achievements and challenges of our educators and students.
Thank you for all of your support over the years and I look forward to being able to keep serving our community. @ESlosbergKing
