Climate Change! S I Koroma’s school of thought!

Climate change and population growth cannot be looked at independently. Population growth and increased human needs are the drivers for climate change. The higher the world’s population, the more living space and natural resources are needed for human consumption. More living space and increased mining of mineral resources are driving the cutting down trees in the forest.

Let’s begin to look at birth control as an approach to reversing adverse climate change. This is what I think. What do you think?

The "Universe 25" experiment it is one of the most terrifying experiments in the history of science, which, through the behavior of a colony of mice, is an attempt by scientists to explain human societies.

The experiment involved creating a utopian environment for a population of rats. The enclosure provided an abundance of food, water, nesting materials, as well as ample space for rats to roam and socialize.

Initially the rat population thrived and their numbers increased rapidly. However, as the rat population grew, social problems began to emerge. Rats became increasingly aggressive, territorial, antisocial.

Females showed more and more aggressive behavior, isolation elements and lack of reproductive mood. There was a low birth rate and, at the same time, an increase in mortality in younger rodents.

Then, a new class of male rodents appeared, the so-called "beautiful mice". They refused to mate with the females or to "fight" for their space. All they cared about was food and sleep. At one point, "beautiful males" and "isolated females" made up the majority of the population.

As time went on, juvenile mortality reached 100% and reproduction reached zero. Among the endangered mice, homosexuality was observed and, at the same time, cannibalism increased, despite the fact that there was plenty of food.

John Calhoun repeated the same experiment 25 more times, and each time the result was the same.

Some 6 months ago, in October 2023 the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) announced that they had instituted an investigation into the allegation of receipt of vehicles as gifts by Andrew Jaiah Kakai the former Chief Immigration Officer.

ACC took all the 3 vehicles including a G-Wagon into their custody.

About 3 months ago, in January 2024 the Anti-Corruption Commission also announced that they were investigating the Clerk of Parliament, Hon. Paran Tarawally, and his wife who was allegedly employed as a staff of Parliament without due process and wasn't working.

Subsequently, she returned the salary received for the months she didn't work. The husband, Hon. Paran was suspended and both of them were put on bail according to the ACC.

Now, I have been asking repeatedly about these investigations, and the Deputy Commissioner of the ACC, Augustine Foday-Ngobie says the public will be informed accordingly of their report on the conclusion of their investigation.

It will be good for the public to understand what could have been the delay in concluding these investigations especially when Kakai is still working for the government while Paran's suspension was never officially announced and we don't know if he's still receiving his salary and other benefits.
