There’s a deck that made top 4 at a regional that costs less than my Chipotle order. The only money barrier in Pokemon is in travel expenses and registration fees, not the secondary market for base rarity singles.

YuGiOh is unplayable going second due to power creep

MTG is the Fortnite of card games with their endless cross-overs

& Pokémon's second hand market and rampant scalping have priced children out of the game

@swannoise @nicole_crouty Promotion from trusted players and product quality. Dragon Shield’s quality was slipping around the time DuelSpec and FCBC were starting. You couldn’t trust Dragon Shields out of a new box and most DQs for marked cards involved a bad batch.

UR = Ultra Rare

These are case hits, one box in a given case is going to have one of those three. One other box in the case will have a UR, but once a SEC or OUR is pulled it’s a dead case.
