@WBrettWilson I have always supported only the Conservative platform, it is the way I was raised.
However, with his campaign promise to make being homeless and seen in public a criminal act, I 100% say I will not vote for his platform.
@OneBadDude_ I agree that she should be offended by the hat, we should all be concerned of what it truly stands for.
But I more strongly disagree with her self-entitled notion that she can forcibly remove it from the man's head.
@blainejerret@rayluc3 @FanJDVance If none of us would know until Judgement Day where we ourselves will be placed, we would be even less informed on where a complete stranger will be placed.
@rayluc3 @FanJDVance The one thing you have in common with them is, both are suggesting they have the right to decide how they should see themselves. They would be right on that assumption.
@ryangerritsen We have been more than a little stupid over the last few generations, in permitting the egregious infiltration of American media and Corporate American ownership of nearly 65% of the Canadian economy.
@TorontoDave99 @Martyupnorth_2 Esso/Exxon/Mobile alone gouged more than that. They were the 1 industry that actually grew during covid, and the prices went up again once people started returning to work.
@PrivatePrickles@ztisdale This chart is inaccurate based on my experience.
I am closer to 40% for accommodation, 25% for taxes, 8% for food, 1% for clothing, 20% for gasoline, 6% for other.
I wish I had another 13.1% for other.
@ztisdale In the 80's, gas stations were advertising they were only making 3% of the total sales price of gas, now it is much closer to 65%, which even in these times is a 40% gouge, going south of the border.
Petro Canada should not have been sold to the highest Corporate America bidder.
@mrsunshinebaby Alberta's separation is a silly argument to suggest.
If you want to be a suck-baby and separate because you don't get your own way, you may be better served applying to emigrate a little south instead.
@SecRubio You should expedite the process with expediency, to revoke the privilege of anything and anyone from Entering and Leaving America.
Seems the steel wall at Mexico failed, so he's built an economical barrier instead. Isolationism at it's finest.
@tonybaloney1234@MAGAResource@TrumpDailyPosts It will be less beautiful when you can sell only to America and lose ownership to the other economies around the world, like Cuba did. Soon, the American Government will prevent Americans from travelling to anywhere outside of America.
@MAGAResource But if America is producing product in another country, then shipping it home, the consumer pays a penalty because Corporate America should be fined, instead of imposing a tariff.
@EpicAmerica18@TheRealJamesFB@SciPiHarvey Read the manifesto he dictated in his previous term for the Dairy shipped to Canada, then check the volume to see that the threshold has never been exceeded. HIs numbers state what could be levied if Corporate America abused the treaty, but have generated zero tariff charge.
@EpicAmerica18@SciPiHarvey Tariffs to were used previously to prevent competition to the Sugar producers, but Tariffs do not present a long-term path to revenue growth. When the prices go up, the market declines due to lack of affordability and is not long-term sustainable.
@SciPiHarvey Most of the Tariffs target foreign products made by foreign companies, that are ultimately owned by Corporate America. His tariffs are to conquer the other 35% of the world's economies, and to have them pay for the privilege.
