Thank you, Breeda, for sharing their stories. It's important to always have their stories heard. We should elevate the voice of those who survived and passed through the institutions. Hopefully, one day, the memorial on Sean McDermott Street will do justice to further telling these and other stories for generations to come.
Today marks 12 years since the State apologised to the women of Ireland’s Magdalene laundries. Check out this recently discovered footage where The Magdalenes and I were invited to meet the President of Ireland in Áras an Uachtaráin.
It was the honour of a lifetime to help secure the state apology for those women.
But to be asked by the President to say a few words on the day about our journey is something I'll never forget.
It is an honour and a privilege to have The Magdalenes and I podcast recognised at the Irish Podcast Awards with the Silver Award—a great start to 2025. New episodes are coming soon. Congratulations to The Stardust Tragedy podcast on their overall win 👏.

@Mark1975s Did anyone say that the Nuns aren't good educators? It amazes me how many people like to throw shade on social media. Can two things not coexist?
Can people please make sure they are responsible dog owners! Our dog (Molly) got attacked this morning in a park by another dog. She's okay, but as you can see, a piece of her ear is gone! The other dog ran a good distance to get to her and snapped! #BeAware#DogLover.

I first met Micheal O’ Muircheartaigh in 2012 at the People of the Year Awards. Since then, I have had the pleasure of meeting him on several other occasions. 2013, he attended the launch of my documentary No Limbs No Limits about my sister @JoanneOR_Ox. Always friendly and always checking in to see how we are doing. The last time I met him was at an event celebrating his life, where my family and I had the pleasure of being invited by him. He will be remembered as a legend but I remember him as an absolute gentleman.

We discovered more bodies than they said there were. They had broken bones on their ankles, their elbows, their wrist, their hands. https://t.co/bMSVGfodJr
