@blubills_@MarkAnthonyWZ My in game crossbar in The Finals is the BR crosshair from Halo 3. I played against the Ogre Twins regularly, I can play with a controller.
Aim assist should be removed from competitive lobbies. I don't really care if its in the casual modes, but in Ranked? Yeah, it should be auto toggled off.
PROOF THAT AIM ASSIST ISN'T NEEDED IN MODERN GAMING AND THAT IT SHOULD BE REMOVED TO MAXIMIZE SKILL IN COMPETITIVE GAMING
(NO AIM ASSIST + MAX SENSE + 30% MAX DEADZONE)
@blubills_@MarkAnthonyWZ I appreciate the suggestion, but some of us actually developed real mechanical skill grinding ESEA Main. I prefer aiming for myself, but I completely understand why you need the software to do the heavy lifting.
@Jnelson58805028@MarkAnthonyWZ Absolutely agree, some people do play for fun. This is specifically targeted to ranked players and players who are professionals, building a career path to be pro, streamers, etc. If you're playing for fun then I wouldn't expect you to be grinding ranked lobbies.
@murdoc131@IiiCraighead Nice dude, great rebuttal. Let me know when you figure out how to disprove basic human reaction times. While you're at it tell me the software aims for you without telling me the software aims for you.
@Mike_Pantelakis@axe609 You don't actually want MnK removed from gaming, you just want input based matchmaking so you don't have to play against it. There is a massive difference
@axe609 Tell that to the entire tactical shooter genre. Banning the native PC input because developers can't balance crossplay is like banning manual transmissions because automatics are easier to drive in traffic.
@MarkAnthonyWZ Human reaction time averages 200-250ms to respond to a sudden direction change. Rotational aim assist reacts in exactly 0ms. MnK requires raw mechanics; controller gets software guaranteed consistency.
