Will Parris 6’4” 2027 ( North Henderson ) Consistently gets it done as a scorer. Plays with great efficiency, takes quality shots, and always plays within himself, making him a reliable offensive presence every time he steps on the floor.

Had a great time this past weekend @MilliganMBB. Thank you too @CoachRobBuffs@CoachKAngel and the rest of the Milligan Coaching Staff for the invite and opportunity.

Only 7% of all high school athletes play at the next level. Don’t sleep on an opportunity because it’s not at the level you see yourself at. You are elite if you’re in that 7%
The last time I was at spooky nook somebody asked me what I look for when I evaluate players? I figured now is a good time as any, so you have something to work on this fall!
What I care about:
1. I understand we are in a positionless game today, but how well do they play their position? Do they handle the ball well enough at the point guard spot? Are they tough enough at the post position? How well do they move without the ball? Do they do something else for their team when their shooting is off?
2. I watch actions and reactions to coaching, officials calls and their teammates. Are they a good teammate? Or are they all about themselves?
3. Do you take plays off? If you do, how can I count on you in a close game? Are you tough 100% of the time?
4. When you do shoot the ball, is it a good quality shot for your team, or is it a forced shot for your stats?
What I don’t care about:
1. How many points you score. There’s not one college coach, or one scout sitting in the stands with a scorebook.
2. North-South turnovers don’t bother me nearly as much as east-west turnovers. Turnovers are part of the game, how well do you recover from them?
Fellow scouts…. Feel free to add what you look for, or what you don’t worry about.

Doing what he does, finishes off two feet, makes plays, and makes others better! @willparris23 was doing a little bit of everything last week @Phenomlive in Raleigh. He and his team will be in Bermuda Run this weekend!
Proud of @willparris23 this weekend, made the most of a difficult situation, powered thru, and finished with 20 points on a win, and a hard fought 17 in a loss!
