You can be born anywhere.
That’s chance.
The rest is… choice.
Choose the sun in Naples
and the rain in Glasgow.
Choose heading to a World Cup.
Choose tattie scones on a Tuesday
and pizza on a Wednesday.
Ignore everyone telling you it’s easier the other way
and embrace being the underdog.
Choose a skipper that’s always on duty.
Choose getting absolutely written off
and getting up and showing them anyway.
You can’t decide where you’re born.
But you can decide who you stand with.
CHOOSE SCOTLAND 🏴
We spent decades trying to rid ourselves of Massachusetts archaic ‘blue laws’ and the Scots just came in and laughed and chanted them away in a weekend. 🏴
Boston's mayor Michelle Wu has admitted she took part in the Tartan Army’s antics and placed a traffic cone on a statue outside of Boston’s City Hall 🏴
She has also shared how her meeting with First Minister John Swinney went
🏴The Scots have officially taken over Providence! We're so lucky to have such a proud, passionate, kind and fun fanbase choose Providence for all of their World Cup experiences.
Today's parade was a celebration of cultures, community and togetherness and a reminder of why this sporting event is so important for cities across America.
I can personally confirm, first hand, that the Scots have taken over Boston and brought only happiness and joy. The bars… for sure, but we’ve also seen folks at breakfast, at the playgrounds with kids. It’s a jolt of fun everyone needed!
What a gift this World Cup is!

The Tartan Army’s on a charm offensive and their American hosts are loving it.
But beyond beer & viral videos, there’s charity work. The Tartan Army is giving Hasbro Children’s Hospital the biggest single donation it’s ever received - money that will go towards treating cancer.
A Scottish piper added some unexpected charm tonight, perched on a BPD motorcycle and playing bagpipes outside the FIFA Watch Party at City Hall, which runs until 9:30 PM.
