You voted against scrapping zero hour contracts.
You voted against banning fire and rehire.
You voted against day one sick pay for workers.
You said the minimum wage was too high for young people.
Reform politicians openly say they don't like trade unions.
You will always put the interests of your offshore crypto billionaire donors ahead of workers.
Left: Richard Tice criticises Keir Starmer for not "stopping the boats"
Right: Keir Starmer hits back saying it costs money to stop the boats and "if he paid his taxes we'd have more money to deal with these issues"
Fucking NHS. I woke up this morning with some trouble in my eye. Called the optician. Had tests. Sent straight to hospital with a torn retina.
They insisted on giving me laser surgery there and then to fix it. Didn't want any money for the job. Now I'm home again.
How inconsiderate. Joking aside. Remember there are people out there who want to dismantle the NHS.
Nigel Farage urged his supporters to react to Henry Nowak's murder with 'pure, cold rage'.
Eleven police officers were injured during unrest in Southampton last night.
James O'Brien asks: 'Is that cold enough for you'?
Has Nigel Farage gone too far?
Reform's leader has said, "white lives matter just as much as black lives", calling for people to respond to Henry Nowak's murder with "pure, cold rage".
The Nowak family say they don't want this tragedy used to sow division.
What do you think?
Next time you’re in a hideously long EU Airport queue simply shout: ‘This is Farage’s fault’.
Everyone in the queue will applaud and cheer. Even the Brexiteers will join in because they won’t dare identify themselves.
You should be issuing £1000 fine for littering which could go keeping the town even cleaner. Anybody with no means to pay, is forced to wear high vis and do hours of cleaning for free. solutions like this would keep our country clean @KeepBritainTidy@cleanupbritain#southend
Unfortunately, these photos were all taken on Southend seafront over the last week, as the heatwave brought thousands of visitors to the city.
But have you ever wondered what happens to the litter after the crowds leave the beach?
Early each morning, while most people are still waking up, cleaning teams are already out making sure the beaches, paths and public areas are tidy and ready again by 8am.
It is a huge daily operation, especially during busy periods like the Bank Holiday weekend, when thousands of people head to Southend for the sun, sea and seafront attractions.
Across more than seven miles of coastline, SUEZ crews work incredibly hard to clear tonnes of litter left behind after busy days.
Their work includes picking up litter by hand, using litter pickers, emptying hundreds of bins and using specialist equipment, including a mechanical beach rake, to sift through the sand and remove waste.
The teams also stay on the seafront throughout the day, clearing litter where they can and keeping bins emptied as visitor numbers build.
On a busy summer weekend, up to 20 tonnes of waste can be collected from the seafront alone. That's roughly the same amount of waste produced by around 22 households in an entire year.
By the time visitors arrive each morning, there is often very little sign of what came before.
It is an incredible effort from the crews working behind the scenes to keep Southend looking its best during the busiest and hottest days of the year. 👏
Our concrete was just poured and finished this morning, and before I got home my son accidentally let the dog outside… right across the fresh pour.I already called the contractor, but now I’m stressing out wondering if this can actually be repaired or if the marks are permanent.Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a way to fix it without removing anything?
