@TheRealRead The argument about infection control and safety is flawed I feel. The trousers we are provided arenβt exactly impenetrable and Iβd much rather clinell my bare legs than have to go into ED with god knows what on my trousers before changing! π
Had a great day yesterday at the #ESS2024 in Birmingham! Lots of great stalls and learned of some amazing organisations.. as well as playing with new tech!
PHEC07 Ambulance Nurse cohort and educators on our last day at @SCAS999 Whiteley before hitting the road! Canβt believe the day is finally here β¨ We did it guys π€!
Today I was asked to look out βthe padsβ.. it was at that point I forgot for a brief period of time that I now work pre-hospital and this no longer means inco pads ππ
Our service is extremely busy. As a result, some patients calling 999 who do not have a serious or life-threatening emergency requiring an immediate response may be directed to use alternative, more appropriate urgent care services.
He's only gone and WON IT!!!!
Huge congratulations to our Winch Paramedic Duncan Tripp who has just been surprised live on ITV from the Inverness Search and Rescue base as winner of the Pride of Britain Emergency Responder award!

Well last night I had my final shift in Critical Care after 5 incredible years (and 8 years with @NHSGrampian)! It truly is bittersweet but excited for the next chapter - from SSN to Ambulance Nurse with @SCAS999 in Portsmouth π! Thanks for putting up with me over the years β¨
Had a great observation shift with @EMRSscotland North and @ScotAirAmb#Helimed79! Lots learned and have left with even more admiration than I already had for them! Thanks again ππ½π
@EmmaFra69940734@NHSGrampian They will no longer be mandatory as of Monday 16th May in all settings. However can still be worn if people wish! Monday feels like a new Independence Day π
