@walterkirn I saw Elliott at Town Hall in NYC in 2000. Just him, an acoustic guitar, and a folding chair. Everyone remained seated. No one spoke. It was a mesmerizing performance.

He was shy of course but seemingly happy that night. A heartbreaking and tragic loss to the world.
