The #M6 south is now closed between J36 #KirkbyLonsdale and J34 #Lancaster due to a jack-knifed HGV. This is to assist with diversions.

The closure is likely to be protracted due to the complex recovery.

There are delays of 10 minutes.

Lane 3 (of 3) remains closed on the #M6 #Cumbria in both directions between J41 #Carleton & J42 #Scotby due to barrier damage following a collision.

Contractors are on scene to carry out repairs.

There are currently no delays on the approach in either direction.

@MEGZI83 Brill Meg 👍 A sign on the existing parking sign pole at the entrance to Nestle (on the main road) would stand out well.
More signs are needed throughout the centre of the village in particular (where all the shops etc are).

There’s a notable lack of defib signage in Dalston.
