Students: exhausted, too many tests, long week, social stresses, longest part of the year;
Social Studies Teachers: A one-pager will fix all your problems!
As parents, it can be tough to put our kids in situations that will make them uncomfortable. But when children feel anxious about doing things that are within the range of what we might expect them to do, it's critical to remember this rule.
Resentment stems from the perception of mistreatment; as we inch closer to end of a long week it is tempting to direct our resentment towards those around us. We must resist that temptation, they are NOT the cause of the resentment.
Rarely do they see it, and we miss it too when we’re in the thick of it, but everyday progress is made and growth is happening. Remember how much we’ve all grown since day one and keep embracing the journey!
Hate how much my stomach churns on AP score day over a stupid test. Just one piece of feedback, not the whole story. Proud of the year long grind and the results!
