@NotTheMessiah33 @James_Hawke1 I don’t need the Sun’s diameter. Its angular size stays ~0.5° all day, I can measure that myself. If it were moving far away at sunset, that angle would decrease. It doesn’t. So what’s changing, distance, or line of sight?

Instead it disappears bottom-first and only returns when you increase observer height. That’s line of sight obstruction, not perspective
