hi again! just wanted to post another update. as of an hour ago, i secured permanent housing for my mom and myself. i can’t explain how relieved i am. thank you all so much for your support 💗
i do feel ~awkward~ crowdfunding but after a lot of thought, i recognize that i should be open to it given my circumstances. i would love to raise some money to cover moving costs and part of a deposit. i’ve received $30 so far and am immensely grateful!!
hi everyone, thank you for your kind words and support. i am safe, just still in need of housing. for those asking, my cashapp is willow0698. but the biggest help is leads on housing (<1.8k) thank you

so….i am *officially* homeless. my f*ther strangled me yesterday (for leaving a light on) so my mom and i packed small bags and left. not sure where to go from here.
hi everyone! i would respond to everyone individually but my head and life are a bit of a mess right now. just want to say thank you for all of your kind words and support. my parent and i are safe but still houseless and searching for permanent housing.
the best help right now would be leads on housing 1.8k or less per month that have lenient requirements bc i have no rental history and limited documentation in general. maybe a private landlord who is willing to be flexible. thank you again.
a few folks have asked me for my cash app. it’s willow0698. i do feel weary and uncomfortable about crowdfunding because we are living in a recession and truly everyone is struggling. i don’t want to take from my already struggling community.
scrambling to find housing and everything in LA is min $1.8k, requires rental history, employment verification, good credit, etc, pretty much none of which my mom and i have.
This is the message. We can choose to protect ourselves & others by simply wearing a respirator. It’s so easy to be a decent human saving lives. Pandemics are ‘We’, not ‘You Do You’ no matter how much politicians & businesses abandon us.
mask chain donations for gaza are still going out thanks to you!
ahmed al-agha, a hearing impaired teacher, is hoping to evacuate with his mother, brother, brother's wife, and their baby. they're nearly halfway to their goal so please share & donate!
