If you qualify based of 2018 or 2019 income & receive a stimulus, but no longer qualify based on 2020 income when you file 2020 taxes, you will not be required to pay back any difference. I have read all 800+ pages of the CARES act and it is clearly laid out.

@NinjaMaryGirl @IRSnews This is a refundable credit for 2020 tax year that is advanced to each qualifying citizen. The IRS does not know your 2020 income yet, and are basing the stimulus amount off of your latest filed return. When you file your 2020 taxes, if you qualify, you will receive it then.
