@bpinfant@Mr_Naylor_EYFS@the3saints It was such a great day for all involved! Thank you! We really do appreciate all the efforts from the planning to the time it takes the staff to put on these great experiences for the children
A massive thank you to @bpinfant for the PTA colour run 🌈
Such a fab experience for the children, parents and the staff to all come together to raise funds!

Today marks the start of #DisabilityPrideMonth.
But here’s a question…
What does Disability Pride mean to you?
Disability Pride isn’t about celebrating barriers. It’s about celebrating who we are, embracing our identities, and challenging stigma.
@LiamFitzLiv Exactly but I think this is something that could have a genuine positive impact on the kids. We see it in work all the times how SM effects every aspect of their lives an they deserve to be kids for longer

create connections, and teach our children that the world is bigger, richer, and more beautiful because of our differences.
That's something worth protecting.
@The_Palmhouse
Today we stumbled across an event in Sefton Park called EmpowHer — a women in business event. We went inside and I was honestly blown away. There was so much culture, knowledge, and community all in one room.
There were stalls about the Quran, herbal teas, Middle Eastern food 1/3
That made me sad really sad.
The idea that Ruby could grow up in a future with less of this — less culture, less understanding, less opportunity to learn from others — genuinely scares me. Events like this show the very best of our communities. They bring people together,
You have to be a certain type of nob to complain about noise coming from a school SEND playground.
Considering schools are usually locked up at the end of the school day, it’s hardly noise 24/7.
Sometimes you just have to tell people no, and back the right side.
@Liverpoolshell This is like the latest in the echo where Carl has written about people complaining about the noise from a SEN school. Never heard crap like it
The approach to this is completely wrong. SEND children communicate in many different ways. Anyone complaining about their noise needs to get a grip. It’s upsetting to hear this and it won’t help the parents of SEND children either.
@LadyCorrigan@CarlCashman@Purple_bin Just sad and disappointing that a letter would even be written. Even down to the green mesh over black because it looks untidy… do people not think educators in the SEND provisions have enough to be thinking about.
