Ehh. I think it’s just for the catwalks. There’s plenty of launch coasters in Florida in the sun, that function reliably. The beefy supports are most likely just because it’s a high stress spot, and the trains are going to weigh probably double that of a normal coaster train. That particular area will literally see double the wear and tear of the rest of the supports. I wouldn’t be surprised if they used thicker track there too.
@disneytipsguy First few weeks of June are usually pretty busy with the kids being off locally and the gay days but then it dies off for pretty much the rest of the summer.
@Uni_Speaking Disagree. I always remember it, just have almost no reason to ride it. It’s an inferior version of Spidey and I’m tired of riding screen rides at studios so I just don’t ride any of them. Except Gringotts but even that isn’t a must do every time.
@robbloomcw You’re not crazy. It wasn’t until they started year one of the walking dead that HHN became a family event. It used to be legitimately scary.
@Uni_Speaking So it doesn't look like a traditional spike. We know it'll be twisted but now it's looking like the spike from the concept art from Hollywood
@CoasterForce@SF_FiestaTexas Not sure that’s true as both Hagrid and Guardians are family coasters and both are longer. And I forgot about Cheetah Hunt which is also longer.
I think they break ground in the next 3-5 years. I believe the ground work they are doing right now is for a new staging lot so they can build garages and a security hub and start building a second CityWalk in front of Epic. Then when construction is nearly complete in UK, they will start the next park here.
This isn’t really a flex. This is acknowledging Studios is lacking good attractions. I used to go ride the Mummy, MiB, ET, then sit my butt at Finnegans until the parade. The rest of the park completely skipable and the soundstage entrance is really ugly and now Finnegans is closed for the year.
@Tiki_Tyme@disneytipsguy Don’t fear. This ride is probably not going to get you wet. I’ve ridden over 1,000 times. I think I’ve gotten more than a spritz twice.
