"Sometimes if we don't have the words, we can't form the thought."
If we don't have the language to say what's in our hearts, it never comes out. It has no way of showing up in the world and making change.
That's why the Stigma-Free Mental Health Society built a mental health glossary into their Student Mental Health Toolkit, giving young people the vocabulary they need to name what's happening, increase confidence and talk about mental health with others.
Words create power, and power creates change.
