@knowsworthy Is the problem west coast salaries, or the cost of living forcing higher salaries? Relying on offshore cheap labor is a temporary solution that will cause issues later.
@GamingCentral26 Yes 100%. Prior to GTA Online, their games were almost exclusively single player, apart from niche modes in GTA IV and RDR1. The direction GTA Online has gone in recent years isn’t exactly encouraging either.
@_Tom_Henderson_ I’m holding out for GTA 6 and then planning to take a break from gaming. When/if I come back depends entirely on the industry drastically changing.
@PaulTassi They need to release all developed content asap. The drip feed model won’t work with a tiny playerbase. If there’s no content ready, then yeah they’re screwed imo.
@PaulTassi Elephant in the room is a game launching in November 2026, followed by every game releasing immediately after. They need to hit the jackpot by October or I fear there’s no chance.
@franmirabella@TheTrueVanguard@DrewskysChannel Not sure they can wait until 2027. Between GTA 6 and then all the games releasing in 2027 to avoid GTA 6, I fear any meaningful changes will get overlooked.
@TheTrueVanguard Not sure a single experimental mode on an existing map, filled with enemy AI that was developed with PvPvE in mind will move the needle. Happy to be proven wrong as I’d love a truly great PvE Bungie game now that D2 is dead.
@Skarrow9 Your video perfectly captured how the community feels. While it was based on speculative info, it doesn't change the core message. D3 is Bungie's only hope of survival.
@PaulTassi D2 is a game that was never designed to last as long as it has. Sony needs to invest in D3 if it wants to recoup anything near that $3.6B acquisition cost. If they don’t, it will taint Sony forever.
