In light of yesterday’s horrific assassination of a leading political figure, I want to underscore that foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country. I have been disgusted to see some on social media praising, rationalizing, or making light of the event, and have directed our consular officials to undertake appropriate action. Please feel free to bring such comments by foreigners to my attention so that the @StateDept can protect the American people.
Labor has really shot itself in the foot with its Net Zero targets! 🤣🤣
Coal mined in Australia and then exported overseas was 'out of sight out of mind' when it came to emissions.
However the Australian High court last week made a ruling that exports and the burning of our coal, even if it is overseas should be included in our emission targets.
So what will Labor do now? Jeopardise Australian exports or jeopardise their precious Net Zero target or try to completely ignore the Hight Court??
🤣🤣🤣
Implying that 17.2 million people were brainwashed by Russia into voting for Brexit and not wanting to take orders from the undemocratic, sovereignty undermining, socialist EU project … is dangerous misinformation.
Designed by government to undermine its own people.
The commander who led the land operation to liberate the Falklands has triggered a furore by saying that boats carrying migrants across the Channel should be machine gunned.
'I would shoot them,' Major-General Julian Thompson told a documentary about mass immigration to Britain.
The Home Office warned today that anyone taking the law into their own hands would face 'serious criminal consequences',..... HOWEVER ANYONE ENTERING THE UK ILLEGALLY IS STILL WELCOME 🙄🤬🤬
A retired NASA engineer who had worked on the Space Shuttle program for 25 years was hired by SpaceX at age 62. He described the first week as the most disorienting experience of his professional life.
At NASA, a design change required 3 meetings, 2 committees, a review board, and 6 to 18 months of documentation. At SpaceX, his new supervisor said "if it works, build it. If it doesn't, change it by Friday."
He sat at his desk after the first day and called his wife. He told her he felt like a man who had been swimming with ankle weights for 25 years and someone just cut them off. He could move. He could decide. He could build something in the morning and test it in the afternoon. The constraint that he had accepted as the nature of aerospace engineering turned out to be the nature of bureaucracy.
Within 6 months he had contributed to more design iterations than he had completed in his last 5 years at NASA. Not because he was working harder. Because the time between having an idea and testing the idea collapsed from months to hours. The same brain. The same knowledge. A different operating system.
He described a specific moment where he proposed a modification to a Raptor engine component. At NASA, the proposal would have entered a queue. At SpaceX, the modification was machined by the end of the day and tested by the following morning. He watched his idea become a physical object in 18 hours. At NASA, 18 hours would not have been enough to schedule the first meeting to discuss whether to schedule a meeting.
He told an interviewer: "I didn't get smarter when I went to SpaceX. I got faster. The intelligence was always there. The system was in the way."
The difference between SpaceX and NASA is not talent. NASA has extraordinary talent. The difference is the time between a thought and a test. SpaceX compresses it. NASA elongates it. The same engineer produces 10x more at SpaceX than at NASA because the bottleneck was never the engineer. It was the meetings about the meetings about the work.
If you do something really well (like let's say you build a really cool sand castle at the beach), other people will notice and walk right up to you and try to be a part of what you're doing.
They didn't do a goddamn thing. They don't have any of the skills to do the goddamn thing. They just want credit and they want to be at the party.
If you let too many of them get close, they will mess with what you did and ruin it. They will try to build new parts on the sand castle, but they don't know how to do it and they will wreck it. They will climb on it like it's a real castle. If you tell them to stop ruining it, they'll say it's not yours anymore or it never was.
That's what it's like being white in a white country right now.

Tiger whose life was spared after he killed a man that entered his enclosure, will now be put to death after British police discover the tiger made posts critical of islam on social media.
Let me get this straight, the US told the Europeans to stop buying Russian diesel, started buying Russian diesel itself, and is now selling that diesel to the Europeans at a profit? Europe is embarrassing.
Australia refusing to purchase Russian diesel directly, while our imported diesel is priced against the Singapore gasoil market is a new level of stupidity.
Here’s a question for the Albanese Government: if Russian-origin petroleum can already enter international supply chains that service Australia, what exactly are we achieving by refusing a direct supply agreement? Australian families, farmers, transport operators and businesses are paying extraordinary fuel prices. Our national interest, fuel security and cost of living deserve serious consideration alongside our foreign policy objectives.
