This post reminded me to finally sit down and watch this. It's phenomenally creepy and tense and burn is so chilling and so incredible with so few lines. Maika too is incredible and I don't think this movie could've come out so well if they weren't cast god it's brilliant

@JamesTDear I agree but “Nikki” isn’t the victim, Nikki is the one people talk about when they reduce Nikki to being a victim, hence why I say we know a lot about her character that makes her more than a victim, even if the fornight skin is only of the wish Nikki.

People genuinely trying to argue that’s all Nikki is when actually we get a very good understanding of her as a person through the movie. She’s an aspiring author who values love over romance, very headstrong and charismatic, puts her wants and needs first, estranged family, etc.
