@thetaoishway That's a fallacy.
One's path in life IS the life being lived, with the related perceptions attached. One's path in life IS NOT what we wish it to be, but rather the one we MUST experience.
Good/bad are value judgments ascribed to things beyond our ken.

Just found out my short story, NOWHERE TO HIDE, published by Meat For Tea: The Valley Review (06/22) was given a Pushcart award nomination!
I'm agog.
Thank you, Meat for Tea
@jodipicoult He'll make sure they do. He'll blow the whistle on himself so the FBI raids Mar-A-Lago= media coverage.
He'll file suits he knows he can't win=media coverage.
He'll rally, rant, and rave=media coverage.
(BTW: I LOVE your writing!) π
@stefbarnfather Yeah. The BEST kind of man! Opens his mouth to say something, but no sound comes out, just pearls for the taking. Oh... wait... that would be an oyster demeanour. Dammit!! π
@stephenRB4 Your talent! When all other reasons fail, the one remaining, no matter how unbelievable, is the only logical one. So, today, CHEER YOUR TALENT! π
@RealHeatherOB I am not defending myself. You're just being a little oversensitive prissy (fill in the blank). I was trying to provide a smile, not to get your panties in a twist. Please, just disappear from my threads, would Y'ALL please?!
@ScriptsByT Are you kidding me? If I type "darling" to a female, I'm being misogynistic and demeaning, and if I type "darling" to a man, I'm being too effeminate. You, my darling, are testing the bounds like you don't know! π
@RealHeatherOB Nah... c'mon on now. I'm not an insulting jerk. My son went to Clemson University and came back y'allin' all the time, so I'm kind of sensitive to its appearance. I'm actually a nice old man (occasionally jerky) π
@thetaoishway After reading "Being Peace," I could find an endless list of worthy quotes by Thich Nhat Hanh! Better though, I think, to practice Being Peace. Very inciteful. Thanks for sharing it and bringing him back to mind. π
