The whole school have had a wonderful visit to @NTBeningbrough today. The children explored the garden, did some orienteering around the grounds and had fun on the adventure playground.

A huge well done to all the children this week on completing a sponsored walk to Crayke and back! It was a great opportunity to develop their knowledge of the wildlife and countryside which they saw on the way.

Last week we had a visit from Northallerton Fire Service, the children learnt about fire safety, fire prevention and the role of the fire safety. They all had a wonderful morning and even got chance to sit in the fire engine! @NorthYorksFire

@kateatkin83 @Miss_T_school @JadeHodgson9 It’s actually one of our targets! We introduced a “Pride and presentation” award. At the end of every session a child is chosen for the most improved presentation and they get a point on their chart and their name on the board. We made a fuss of it and have seen improvements! 😊

This week we have begun planting our trees in the school grounds as part of the preservation of #TheGreatNorthernForest. The children really enjoyed it and #EYFS were keen to see if they had grown overnight! We talked about how it might take some time!

This week infants have been learning how to write a letter and about the postal service in our communication topic. They wrote letters to their friends and we walked to the post box to send them; hope you all enjoyed receiving them this weekend! #communication #literacy
