@trichotome Welcome to fatherhood man. It's such a blessed time. Enjoy every single second. My daughter is 5 now. I still miss when all she could do was wiggle, cry, coo and sleep. It's going to be a great adventure so cherish every tiring second. It's worth it.
@Knights_Path@Bendak5tar Ummm okay so sequel confirmed already lol. Just make sure you don't make the same mistake Kingdom come deliverance 2 made lol ๐
Every opinion is worth it. Don't sell yourself short! To me your opinion matters which is why I like having these discussions with people online. I like to see the contrast. But oh boy if they brought back the Phantom Bow I would cry tears of joy. Just the sound effect of getting killed by that thing was epic, let alone killing people with it.
I feel you there man. If I had to choose between having remasters of golden age maps vs new modern EA maps, I'm going with nostalgia every time. Either way Dice has proven that they can be innovative but it really depends on how much effort they actually put into a map. Just look at the differences between Blackwell Fields and Eastwood. Blackwell is an utterly abysmal garbage map while Eastwood is a clear example of Dice cooking. Both new and original maps, It's just sometimes new maps are a hit or miss. If I had the technical know-how to do it I would just recreate all these maps in portal and give Dice express permission to use them officially but fatherhood and 40 to 60-hour work weeks kind of shit on that idea lol.
BF3 was the last Battlefield I went to a midnight release for. At that point in time nobody was really crying about old maps because at least in Battlefield 3 and 4 the maps were phenomenal. Unlike Battlefield 6's base game maps. That's another reason why people want older maps because Bf6 launch maps pale in comparison so people naturally gravitate towards the experiences they had that made the series what it is today. The new generation of Battlefield players today are so used to sucking the slop that call of duty puts out every year that they just roll with whatever they're given.
@thjmsthtb@Battlefield Why is that everybody's rebuttal? If they do 2 to 3 years of supported content they can add in new and original maps as well. But bringing back older maps also brings back veteran players, who lets me honest, still have a bad taste in their mouths from the last few entries.
With the pricing points of the hardware for the next generation of consoles plus their subscription services you need to even be able to access their online features, at this point in time I really have to ask gamers in general why aren't you on PC yet? We have cookies!
Also, do you plan to move to PC once the new consoles and their new pricing models are available?
I'm not really impressed. They've been clinging on to the 7900 XTX for a while now. Then rereleasing the 9070 GRE is no different than Nvidia re-releasing the 3060. Literally the same playbook causing the GPU market to stagnate. The RTX 5090 is not worth the price point. And with both AMD and Nvidia setting sail full speed ahead on AI while putting gaming on its back burners, public faith in both of these companies is declining more and more. Out of this entire presentation I feel like we literally just heard these announcements from Nvidia. AM5 extended support was to be expected. But overall a very disappointing event.
@EndymionYT That's an insult to the Whale. Don't associate that movie to Disney lol. All joking aside, it is definitely a great movie so I suggest watching the Whale.
