After learning more about Latinx learners I would have to say my biggest take away was how vastly different all the students can be. Also I learned that Latinx is a more neutral term which I think is supper cool and a great thing to keep in mind #gcc203

Along with the homeless community the LGBTQ+ community deserves the education we have and resources we can give them. As educators and Christians we are called to love one another and we should try and help them as much as possible #gcc203

After learning about the homeless community and how we can teach them it is clear to me that as teachers and Christians we should strive to provide all of our students equal opportunities for education #gcc203

I loved learning how we should take each child as an individual and not as a culture. Especially with Arab American students, we need to avoid the stereotypes and love on all of our children #gcc203

I loved learning more about Asian Indian students in the classroom. My biggest take away was that they place a large bond on family and the success of the children, this is something that needs to be thought about in our future classrooms #gcc203

My biggest take away from a classmates presentation on Asian American students is that they could have a low self esteem. With this we as teachers really need to think about the model minority and how we could possibly be putting unneeded pressure on them #gcc203

Native American students need the support of their community in the classroom and we as teachers should strive to include them. Along with this African American students really strive when they have a sense of community and are able to perform with the rest of the class #gcc203

I loved reading through this article about ELLs success. This really goes to show we as teachers need to think more about what and who we are testing. In order to see improvement you can remove those who we know have improved #gcc203
