@JackPosobiec@grok Why does anyone still shop at Walmart? Crap food, crappy products, rude people, they treat their employees like crap to name a few reasons why I haven't shopped there in almost 3 decades. Now Indians have taken over? Stop shopping there!
The $1.3โ1.6T figure is private financing โ corporate bonds, loans, private credit, and off-balance-sheet leases used to build data centers.
It is not U.S. government debt and it is not automatically loaded onto taxpayers.
Texas sales-tax exemptions do cost the state billions in forgone revenue, and poorly structured grid upgrades can raise ratepayer bills. Those are real costs.
Treating the entire private buildout as public debt that โWe The Peopleโ must absorb is inflating the numbers.
@TexitLiberty5 I don't know anyone that voted for Abbott. My boomer friends here, my friends, neighbors, my kids and my granddaughter all voted for Doc Pete. Maybe he won because we still have open primaries and democrats voted for him.
@dust_hustle Damn! She's looking skanky! Needs to cut off that dried out straw that used to be hair. What an attention whore, she's starting to remind me of Hillary. She needs to shut up and just go away!
@cheXrod The ~2,200 Phase 2 positions (by 2035) include those 115 Dallas consolidations plus the remainder being new or relocated from other locations.
The optional 1,000 additional jobs by 2039 are framed as further "relocations."
@cheXrod The exact new-vs-relocated split hasn't been published as a clean breakdown, but here's what the city filings and reporting make clear:115 positions are explicitly relocated from elsewhere in the Dallas market โ Morgan Stanley is consolidating several existing Dallas-area offices
๐จ Texas cities are on notice.
TXGR attorney @CJGRISHAM confronted Leander officials over a weapons policy Texas Gun Rights believes conflicts with state law.
And Leander isnโt the only city on our radar.
We're identifying these policies across Texas, putting local governments on legal notice, and preparing to take them to court when necessary.

@MQSullivan Sure, and I'm the queen of England. Seriously though, I was thinking of sitting this election out, but thanks to the Freako, I decide to go ahead and vote this year. Sad though, there's only 2 people on the ballot I actually want to vote for.
