Three giant swords planted into rock — never to be used again.
Sverd i fjell, or Swords in Rock, stands beside Hafrsfjord near Stavanger, Norway. Created by sculptor Fritz Røed and unveiled in 1983, the monument commemorates the Battle of Hafrsfjord, traditionally dated to 872, when Harald Fairhair is said to have united Norway under one crown.
The largest sword represents the victorious king, while the two smaller swords represent the defeated rulers. But the meaning is not only victory.
Because the swords are fixed into solid rock, they also symbolize peace, unity and freedom — weapons laid down forever.
Hi everyone,
Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.
We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.
@TRobinsonNewEra Thanks so much Tommy for speaking up for us here in Epping. Why Is it so wrong to NOT want unknown young men trying to touch up children. Government housing them under taxpayers money barely a mile from schools???!!! We don't want that for anyone!
You can you use your fake media to lie about me , you can whip up a frenzy to put a target on my back hoping someone kills me , you can imprison me . It changes nothing , WE ARE NOT BACKING DOWN. WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK @UKLabour
@Nigel_Farage wanted to vote @reformparty_uk but no candidate in Epping Forest. Voted for all, to protest and vote. Voting system needs to change. Why can't we vote for who we want 😡
