Sometimes I think we'd enjoy church more if we stopped secretly grading it.
Music: 8/10
Sermon: 7/10
Coffee: concerning
Parking: unforgivable
Maybe occasionally we should walk in asking:
"Who can I encourage today?"
You never know how God might use a small kindness.
A conversation.
An invitation.
A meal.
A text.
A seat saved at church.
Love doesn't always look dramatic.
Most of the time it just looks like noticing people.
Someone in your life probably needs encouragement more than you realize.
A text takes 20 seconds.
"You crossed my mind today. I'm thankful for you."
That's it.
Go stir up some love.
A reminder for your Tuesday:
Jesus is not standing at the finish line waiting to see if you make it.
He's with you in the middle of it.
That's much better news.
You don't have to carry the whole week today.
Just today's grace.
Today's strength.
Today's obedience.
Tomorrow has its own mercy waiting for you.
Jesus will meet you there too.
Whatever is breaking your heart today will not be part of God’s new creation forever.
“Death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore.” - Revelation 21:4
