Human trafficking is prevalent along the 401 corridor. I asked expert witnesses at the Status of Women committee whether our shelters are truly meeting the unique needs of survivors and whether exposure to active drug use recreates the very environment they’re trying to flee.
Canada is officially in a recession, and where is the Prime Minister? Nowhere to be found. Carney has been dodging the cameras and our questions for more than five days! Families are struggling, and they deserve real answers from this Liberal government on why Canada is the only G7 country in a recession, not deflection and distraction.
The lack of enforcement of peace bonds creates a false sense of security for women fleeing violence and domestic abuse, leaving them vulnerable to further violent assaults from their abuser. The Criminal Code must be strengthened to ensure the protection and safety of all women.
Serve something bigger than yourself.
Conservatives have always believed that the strength of a nation lies not in its government, but in its people — free, resilient, and rooted in something greater than themselves.
Today I had the honour of spending time with a remarkable group of young Conservative interns. Looking around the room, I saw a generation ready to answer that call.
This is by far the most important picture.
Seeing Caroline, the other leadership candidates, and all of caucus on stage united behind the new leader!
Unity is the mission.
If it happens, BC will finally get a new government that it so badly needs.
Congrats @KerryLynneFindl! 💙
Congratulations to @KerryLynneFindl on your victory in the @Conservative_BC leadership race!
You’ll make a great Premier, and BC urgently needs a Conservative government. After years of mismanagement, the Eby NDP is taking the province in a disastrous direction.
A huge thank you as well to @NVanCaroline, @PeterMilobar, @yuri_fulmer, and @iainblackbc for running strong campaigns and helping grow the movement. Thanks also to your teams and volunteers for building the Party to more than 40,000 members.
Time now to unite, grow, and get ready to form government. #bcpoli
The BC NDP would be foolish to underestimate Kerry-Lynne Findlay.
She’s an unapologetic pugilist of a politician who can effectively tap into the overwhelming frustrations of British Columbians; the opposite of Kevin Falcon with significantly more punch than John Rustad.
Congratulations to @KerryLynneFindl the next leader of the @Conservative_BC and the next premier of BC!
May the party unite behind the next leader and defeat the NDP to chart a new path forward for the province!
The best outcome for the Conservative Party of BC tonight would be if interim leader Trevor Halford gets on stage to deliver this speech👇
Immediate ten-point bump in the polls.
I spoke with @billymorinECN
Billy Morin is a former Chief and a Conservative MP in Alberta. We discuss his thoughts on Mark Carney, Pierre Poilievre, floor crossing, and Alberta Separatism.

Proud to stand with our leader today, Pierre Poilievre, as he outlined our plan to unleash economic growth and prosperity to turn this country around after disastrous liberal policies that have landed Canada in a recession.
Whomever wins @Conservative_BC leadership on Saturday will inherit a party in far better shape, with far less internal chaos, than ever before. They have @TrevHal to thank for that, as a particularly effective interim leader.
