Going to get a ton of hate for this but whatever. Image #1 - puck is on Bennett's stick, notice the time on the video. By image #3 Bennett is PAST Stolarz already. If you think Bennett went from thinking about the puck on his stick to "Let's injure Stolarz" in less than a second, then you are just letting your hate for the man rule your brain. Does he make contact, yes. It's absurd to think this was intentional however. The only reason Stoli is even there is because less than a second ago Bennett had his stick on the puck. Hate the Panthers all you want, but use your brains, exactly what is Bennett supposed to do here when he is allowed to be just outside of the crease, and Stolarz comes out to meet him and sticks his head outside the crease? Exactly what is Bennett supposed to do in that less than one second time? I hate that Stoli got hurt obviously, even if we don't know if the slapshot had anything to do with it, but framing this as intentional is just silly. And for any of you Leaf fans who about to call me some uneducated new Panthers fan homer, probably best to do your research before launching that insult. If nothing else I call it as I see it, sometimes more to my own teams detriment than anything.

@dumoulin_nick @JacobBillingt10 He wasn't cost controlled he was a UFA. Ottawa doesn't have 9 million to give him. Anyone that follows the team knows this. RHD is the most scarce position in hockey. You know who was cost controlled because he had term was Jensen the player they traded for.
