Same people. Same tired ideas. Same failed characters.
Nigeria cannot keep recycling the architects of yesterday’s failures and expect a different future.
The people are watching, and they deserve something genuinely new, not another rerun with failures. @papshowng
"If we want to speak about state police, the first thing I will suggest is that we stand on the existing police structure. If we do not have a strong national police, then it is difficult for us to build 36 police forces on a weak national police." — Nnenna Elendu-Ukeje, former lawmaker
Giving Governors State Police Powers During an Election Season Raises Serious Questions
We want to give governors the power of state policing in an election season, and we’re not allowed to ask why that should be so. We are creating state police with no transitional arrangements, yet we’re told these are minor issues. The invitation to state courts is an invitation to anarchy.

@cybsmith_flynn@emekabk21 Until you go into their books to find out that 50% of the moneys goes into "2027 presidential re election bid" and the remaining 50% is used for "payment of salaries" while nothing goes into auto research.
There is a video of Africa's richest man saying that he has had to obtain 35 different visas just to be able to travel around Africa. A random homeless drunk from Hamburg who has never held down a steady job has more access to Africa than Africa's richest man on account of the complete accident of German citizenship and ancestry.
That should be the end of the conversation about whether identity or social class comes first. Dangote comes from the highest possible social class in existence on the continent of Africa, but by default he still has fewer movement privileges ON HIS OWN CONTINENT and in the world outside than the lowest born 6-fingered European orphan with Downs Syndrome.
To get the same movement and access privileges as the European retard orphan, Africa's wealthiest human being would have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a foreign passport that gives him what the orphan retard baby born in a brothel in Naples gets automatically at birth for free.
Any African who thinks class comes before race because of something Karl Marx wrote in a book in the 19th century is an adherent of just another goddamn religion. Das Kapital is their holy book, Karl Marx is their deity, and Friedrich Engels is his designated prophet. It's really no accident that people like that react to Lenin, Mao, Deng etc, the exact same way that Catholics and Sunni Muslims react to heretics.
You cant grow beyond the level of your country's infrastructure.
People forget that Amazon and Netflix were using the United States Postal Service heavily in their early days.
Fix Roads, Power, Rail, Airlines, and watch millionaires emerge naturally.
@sowore@JAMBHQ As it stands today, JAMB is the most reputable exam body in Nigeria, instead of abolishing JAMB, abolish post utme. Universities will sell admissions to the highest bidder
Nigeria is a broken society. The APC did their homework. Nigeria is a religious nation without morals. You pray a lot, but you don’t know God!
GOD IS FAR AWAY FROM YOU.
Kenneth Okonkwo is scheming.
Daniel Bwala & Reno Omokri are lying.
Julius Abure is scheming & telling lies.
Pastors are scheming, Imams are scheming. It’s the whiff of money, everyone wants to hammer.
Mommies are bought with indomie, 2K, rice, & semo. The young are hooked on drugs, cruise, kidnapping, hook up, & Yahoo Yahoo business.
Elders of the land are singing on your mandate.
Greed is seen as cruise. Morality is seen as weakness. While greed continues to wreak havoc, the nation will continue to go under.
The Real Economy is inside the gutter, the government use propaganda to dress up the wounds. Nigerians are on their knees defeated.
Everyone wants a pound of Peter Obi’s flesh. In a place ruled by crooks, the innocent is the one receiving the most abuse. He dared to be different. That’s his only crime. He conquered greed in the belly, & they hate him for that.
I’m a sucker for hopeless causes, but Nigeria is a lost cause. Tinubu is wicked. Seyi is meaner. Remi is 10x meaner. You have fake bishops & fake pastors everywhere. A religious nation without values — is a recipe for disaster.
People just want money by any means possible. Nigeria is a broken society. It has nothing to do with poverty - it's a lack of morals & values.
There was a time when honor, nationalism, nation-building, & patriotism meant something. Those years are long gone, but we can dream again. The elders of the land left the scene.
IT IS TIME THEY GOT BACK IN THE FIGHT.
Nigeria has changed, & generally for the worse. No other people behave like Nigerians. We have to change minds before Nigeria can change.
We have to reimagine the country from scratch. We must protect the right of Nigeria to change.
Time is running out & we are running out of families. Men of goodwill are now in short supply. We must restore the throne of good men. Or our dear old Nigeria will perish for good
